Charlie Miller, an iPhone hacker and researcher found an iPhone security hole last month and intends to release the bug during the Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas on Thursday. iPhone SMS hack details
How does the SMS hack work? Firstly, this hack does not requirreleae the victim to download any file. The attacker only needs to know the victim’s phone number. Miller says the attack is enabled by a serious memory corruption in the way the iPhone handles SMS messages. For the attack to work, an attacker must send hundreds of SMS control messages (different from regular SMS messages) and only the initial SMS will be seen. This attack works on both the iPhone and the Andoid. What does the iPhone SMS hack do? This hack can allow the attacker to make calls from your iPhone, steal your data, send text messages, and also spread the attack to other iPhones in your address book.
How to recognize and avoid the iPhone virus
If you get a strange text message containing any square box, even if it’s from a recognized number you may be the victim of the iPhone virus.
You have two choices:
1. Put your iPhone in Airplane mode: Go to Settings -> Airplane Mode and slide the button to Off.
2. Hold down the power button, and slide to turn your iPhone off.
The only thing we can do now is wait for Apple to release a patch. We expect Apple to release the iPhone 3.1 update by September, but hopefully this exploit causes them to release it earlier. iPhone Forensics expert, Jonathan Zdziarski and iPhone hacker p0sixninja from the Chonic Dev Team recently tweeted about the possibility to release their own patch for this vulnerability (only available through a jailbreak).

Erin Andrews Peephole Tape: Most Wanted Video
Erin Andrews peephole tape video seems to be the most wanted video these days. The video shows the ESPN reporter's naked body in her hotel room. There's a suspicion that Erin may have been videotaped by one of her own colleague, Radaronline reports. Her lawyers insist the Erin Andrews peephole tape video was made without Erin's knowledge, and she was "in the privacy of her hotel room.
The scandal erupted when the Erin Andrews video was posted to the French Web site Dailymotion. Radaronline reports that the video was uploaded by a user named Goblazers1 who has been identified as a 49-year-old American male.
ESPN is infuriated, and has vowed to find the person who created the video. "Andrews has been grievously wronged here. Our people and resources are in full support of her as she deals with this abhorrent act," Josh Krulewitz, a spokesman for ESPN told Radaronline.

Some people think that the Sprite commercial has crossed the line. The Sprite commercial has been banned in Germany and probably many countries since it depicts naked interracial man and woman doing what looks like a fellatio.
The Sprite commercial is pretty straight forward. There’s a naked white woman kneeling on the floor before a naked black man, and she is obviously giving the guy an oral sex. They show his face, and he is obviously having a good time. You then see her face, and she thinks to herself something like "Man, I could really go for a Sprite right now." Then you see his face again and he’s at that magical point of no return, and the woman gets hit in the face with a bunch of fizzy Sprite. The banned Sprite commercial ends with a close up shot at her face, her chin covered in white fizz, and she says "I love Sprite."

Art Dealer Lawrence Salander Arrested for Art Scam
Art dealer Lawrence B. Salander was arrested again for his role in what Manhattan DA Robert Morgenthau called the biggest art scam in New York history, Bloomberg reported. Manacled and grimacing, the 60 year art dealer, who at his peak counted hedge-fund managers and tennis star John McEnroe as clients, pleaded not guilty in criminal court this afternoon. Five hours earlier he surrendered to Morgenthau’s office in lower Manhattan.
The new charges add three counts against Salander to the 100-count indictment presented in March — and introduced a new bold-faced name to the criminal case. Obama's First Pitch at 2009 All Star Game
Wearing a White Sox jacket and some rather square dad-esque jeans, President Barack Obama did a perfectly respectable job throwing out the first pitch at the All-Star game in St Louis this evening. Though it was tough to tell on telly, Obama seemed to throw the ball over the plate to Cardinal first baseman Albert Pujols, who inched up from a catcher's normal spot. Some booed Obama, but some more cheered him.

US and South Korean Websites Attacked
A cyber attack, suspectedly done by communist state North Korea, has paralyzed United States and South Korean government agencies, banks and businesses websites. The cyber attack happened as the North Korean leader Kim Jong Il appeared at a ceremony to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Kim Il Sung's death. Kim Il Sung is Kim Jong Il's father and was the first leader of North Korea.
US websites have been attacked including those of the Treasury Department, Secret Service, and Federal Trade Commission while South Korean websites appeared to be affected including the presidential Blue House, the Defense Ministry, and the lawmaking National Assembly.

In the video, three cabin staff and a pilot, all in full body paint applied to look like their uniforms, talk viewers through the aircraft's safety procedures.
